Mark Summit
Sail Instructor/ Dive Training /Marine Biologist
Mark has had a long and distinguished career as a captain and marine educator. He spent the last 20 years teaching biology and marine science in and out of the classroom. As a true sailor Mark has spent much of his life at sea. A co-founder of the Catalina Island Marine Institute Tall ship program, The Tole Mour, Mark has been extraordinarily successful at turning sailing and marine science into the ultimate platform for education. Mark is a wealth of knowledge as well as a one of a kind character whose stories seem to be of tall tales until you find yourself involved in one.
Qualifications: Lifeguard, First Aid/ CPR, NAUI Dive Master, Reef Check Instructor, 200 Gross Ton Captain, BS UC Santa Barbara: Marine Biology
