Tyler Korte
Dive Training/Marine Biologist/ Sail Training
Tyler has been involved in outdoor education for that last 7 years as an Instructor and Program Director for the Catalina Island Marine Institute where he fell in love with experiential education. During his time off over the past decade he has spent most of it leading dive adventure trips for students through the Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico and the Channel Islands off California. Tyler loves to spend his time spear fishing, diving, surfing and playing the guitar very poorly. His love for the ocean and all it’s creatures is only thwarted by his obsession with Fish Tacos.
Qualifications: Lifeguard, Emergency First Responder Instructor, PADI Dive Instructor, Reef Check Instructor, 50 Gross Ton Captain, BS Brown University: Aquatic Biology
